코넬 대학교는 미국 뉴욕 주 이타카에 소재한 아이비 리그 소속의 대학교 명문 사립 대학교이다.

1865년 설립된 대학은 고전에서 과학, 이론에서 응용에 이르기까지 지식의 모든 분야에서 가르치고 공헌할 목적으로 설립됐다. 이타카 메인 캠퍼스는 8개 학부대학과 7개 대학원으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 대학과 학과는 구체적인 입학기준과 학업프로그램을 거의 자율적으로 규정하고 있다. 대학은 또 2개의 의료캠퍼스를 운영하는데 하나는 뉴욕시에, 하나는 카타르의 교육시(Education City)에 두고 있다. 뉴욕시에 있는 코넬테크는 통합대학원프로그램이다.
